Our Mission... ...to offer an experience that will enrich the lives of children and women veterans in northern Idaho. The program will incorporate intuitive horsemanship, ranch activities, nature and traditional crafts into each session. Participants will gain and build skills in Leadership, Problem-solving, Confidence, Integrity and Responsibility and will leave with a renewed sense of self and well-being.
Our Vision... ...to inspire each individual to look beyond their current capabilities and explore their world with newfound confidence and with the knowledge that they each have a special gift to give this world.
Our Story... ...it all began in the spring of 2011 when I decided to share my love of horses and the magic they bring into my everyday life. Girls and Horses started as a once-a-week, two-hour program and has evolved into a week-long day camp that includes not only horses, but crafts, games, nature, etiquette and much more. In 2013 we introduced a "Ranch Wranglers" program for boys and in October 2016 we will offer a "Women Warriors" program to allow women veterans the opportunity to experience the magic of horses and a taste of ranch life that will aid in their healing process.
